Frequently asked questions

Comprehensive breakdown of modern tracking restrictions and answers.

Why is client-side (browser) tracking no longer sufficient?

Apple's Safari ITP and modern ad-blockers truncate or delete browser cookies within 24 hours. When a user buys 2 days after clicking an ad, browser pixels treat them as a new un-attributed user. Server-side tracking routes data through your custom first-party domain, restoring full cookie duration up to 180 days.

What is the difference between Meta Pixel and Conversions API (CAPI)?

The browser pixel executes code in the user's browser, vulnerable to network ad-blockers and privacy filters. Meta CAPI transmits conversion events directly from cloud server infrastructure with SHA-256 hashed customer parameters, guaranteeing match rates (EMQ) above 8.8.

How do we prevent duplicate purchase conversions in GA4 & Meta?

We architect precise event deduplication logic. By sending identical event_id and transaction_id parameters from both client and server containers, Meta and GA4 automatically recognize both signals as one single order.
